Method of Development:
The Golf Cheat Sheet was invented by Golf Teaching Professional Richard O. Singleton as a way to help amateur to advanced golfers get control of their short game. The card was developed by controlled experiment, using the loft of the club, the speed of the swing (three swings are clearly described on the back of the card) to determine just how far the ball would travel in the air, and using average greens (flat, medium length cut, and medium softness) as the criteria for ascertaining the distance of the roll after landing. Obviously, roll will differ with differing conditions (slope, softness, and cut of the greens) and
atmospheric conditions (wind, rain).
